The mischievous story behind this photo made me laugh.
Chris says “This place is quite scary. I thought it would be funny to play a trick on my friend. When I went to light the paint inside the phone box I took the number of the box down. When he went inside to light the paint I rang the phone box. It was about 4am, he nearly had a fit. ”
I love this photo! I wish we had cool phone booths like this one here in the US … well, I am sure there must be a few SOMEWHERE — just not where I live!!

Well, there is at leat one phone box like that in the US. When I visited a few years ago there was one at the Epcot centre in the Disney Land resort!
I remember it was a very hot day and went into the phone box to call my mum back in the UK. When the heavy door closed, it was like a furnace in there! lol
I love this picture…there is a phone box down the road from me that is begging to be photographed but its in a rough area and Im a big girls blouse:)
